Our practice combines a warm, home-like atmosphere with highly-trained staff and state-of-the-art technology. Vision constantly changes throughout a person's lifetime and, as it does, vision care needs change as well. We provide thorough eye examinations including diagnosis and treatment of most ocular disorders. Our newest addition to our exams is Optomap Retinal Imaging, which provides a comprehensive, 200-internal-degree view of the retina (back of the eye) in order to detect possible abnormalities or signs of disease, providing patients with the most accurate exam available for early diagnosis and treatment.

Nashoba Vision Associates has two optometrists on staff, Dr. Michael O'Neil and Dr. Gillian Steward, who will provide you with the most technologically advanced eye examination while treating you with respect and compassion.

We treat children as well as adults. Over one-third of the practice's patients are under 20 years of age. A children's exam is similar to an adult's exam with extra consideration given to testing eye movements, alignment, and amblyopia (lazy eye). Nashoba Vision Associates has special tests for infants and toddlers that help diagnose conditions that are generally invisible to the untrained eye (see signs of poor vision in children). Treating these conditions early decreases the chances that they will develop into more serious or even permanent problems. If your child needs corrective lenses, Nashoba Vision Associates carries a large selection of eyewear for children, and specializes in fitting children with contact lenses.
